Femail for allowing us to enter an online competition for not for profit groups last year, which knitting for brisbanes needy won after having the most people vote for them. The prize was $5000 which has been spent on wool, needles, postal costs (over $1500 !!) etc.

Also thanks to one of our members Bernadette, whose employer KPMG, recently gave us a grant of $1000 to purchase  wool, postal bags etc.

Also a huge thankyou to an Anonymous family from "south of Brisbane" for the huge donation (over 1000 balls) of unused yarn, needles, patterns, etc from their late mother's estate.

Thanks to Lincraft Store Morayfield (now unfortunately closed) for their assistance in supplying discounts for group purchases of yarn and also donations of "tangled" yarn, that members have painstakingly untangled to make into useful items.
